Jennifer practiced as a commercial litigator and corporate lawyer for close to 14 years.  As a litigator, she represented clients in a wide variety of disputes including, without limitation, those concerning general contract breaches, manufacturing, employment, construction, banking, bankruptcy, agency/independent contractor, engineering, artists' rights, discrimination, restrictive covenants, and tax.  In these cases, she represented individuals and entities ranging from small closely-held businesses to international companies.  As a litigator, Jennifer appeared in both state and federal trial and appellate courts, and also participated in numerous arbitration and mediation sessions.

In re: USPA Accessories LLC d/b/a Concept One, Docket No. 1:08-cv-02155 (SDNY) (represented an international headwear manufacturer against U.S. distributor in a $250 million contract dispute)

State Bank of India v. Ada Inflight Catering Corp., Index. No. 103664/2010 (Supreme Court, NY Co.) (represented an international bank in its claims against a corporate borrower and the individual guarantors on the loans)

Manhattan Center for Early Learning v. Theracare Preschool Services, Inc., Index No. 605676/01 (Supreme Court, NY Co.) (represented four speech therapists against their former employer in a case concerning unlawful wage deductions and the enforceability of contractual covenants not to compete)

Giordano v. Thomson
, 438 F.Supp.2d 35 (EDNY 2005), aff'd 564 F.3d 163 (2nd Cir. 2009) (represented an individual and his company against claims by a former executive for compensation in connection with a merger of two companies)

Scott v. Dixon, 309 F.Supp.2d 395 (EDNY 2004) (represented a husband and wife against claims by an artist who alleged they violated the Visual Artists Rights Act)

Moon v. Kwon, 248 F.Supp.2d 201 (SDNY 2002) (represented an individual and a hotel against allegations of violations of state and federal wage law)

Ippolito v. John Ciardullo Associates, Index No. 605999/01 (Supreme Court, NY Co.) (represented an individual and his architectural firm against claims by a marketing officer regarding compensation)

Many of Jennifer's cases did not reach the trial stage because they were settled.


As a corporate attorney, Jennifer drafted and negotiated asset and stock purchase and sale agreements, and provided corporate advice to a variety of types and sizes of businesses.
